We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Parts Counterperson. As a vital member of our automotive parts department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and efficiently handling parts inquiries and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct automotive parts for their vehicles.
• Provide accurate pricing and availability information for parts.
• Process parts orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory levels and organize parts on shelves.
• Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
• Utilize computer systems and software to look up parts and process transactions.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and departments.
• Keep the parts counter area clean, organized, and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in an automotive parts or retail sales role is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their functions is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with parts lookup software.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
